The collection, discovered in 1949 in Bulgaria near the town of Panagyurishte, consists of nine gold vessels with a total weight of 6,100 kg. The vessels are made of solid 23-carat gold with very rich decoration and ornamentation. The gold beverage set includes a phiale (a dish) and eight rhytons (cups) in the form of different zoomorphic and anthropomorphic igures.
